Sheds 2 & 4
Shed 2 is having plant installed for 2 robotic welding assembly
lines being installed for automatic production of our building chassis and
assembly of roof components.
Shed 4 is nearing completion with a floor space of over 4500 square
meters. With state of the art technology, our unique automatic floor
panel plant allows APC to produce strong large floor panels with high thermal
ratings, and high fire and termite resistance. A new fibreglass workshop
provides facilities for the production of bathroom and shower components.
Automated cabinet and furniture making assembly lines complement the well laid
out workshop floor.
Shed 3
The production assembly line shed (No. 3) is having plant
installed. Our largest shed with over 5000 square meters of floor space
houses our 2 roll-on assembly lines. The first machines to be
installed were the floor panel press. The extremely well planned
assembly lines are equipped with 3 overhead gantry cranes and all the necessary
equipment for fast, easy and safe operation enabling APC to manufacture 36 to
40 complete rooms each day on a normal shift. Kitchens and wet-mess can
now be produced within 2-4 weeks from the date of order supported by APC's
stock of catering and refrigeration equipment.
Production line #1 and line #2 are now in operation.
Shed 5
The Southern end of the store, shed 5 has been completed as
the heavy machinery service operations area for trucks and plant and is
currently in full use.

Development continues with Multi-storey accommodation buildings.
All new APC camp buildings will feature the latest design for stackable multi-storey erection. The ability to use any of our new buildings as multi-storey camps is a standard option that is provided at no extra unit production cost.
Production of multi-storey accommodation buildings require newly engineered and patented design base frames and corner/side supports. Manufacture of the wall and ceiling panels is being automated so that these panels are produced by a patented system as a fully integrated single unit including all insulation, wiring and other services.
The capacity for APC to provide roll forming increases our production rate and quality control as well as an increase in building strength and R value to meet cyclonic conditions (W99) and Class 3 ABS conditions.
Manufacture of new accommodation and service buildings as well refurbishment of buildings returned from completed projects or buildings needing an upgrade. APC's constant development program ensures that each building is manufactured with the latest techniques and facilities.
